If you replace the ‘P’ in Spiderman with ‘E’ then you get Ashley.
Not only a web shooting enthusiast, Ashley also happens to be a Project Designer from Charleston, SC bringing with her the unique experience of home design and an effervescent interest in exploring new typologies. Did you see our use of the word effervescent? Wow. So demure.
What do I absolutely need to know about Ashley?
When she’s not on the hunt for a sweet treat or or experiencing an undercurrent of FOMO, she’s looking for ways to telekinetically communicate with her cat, Ellie. You see Ellie “accidentally” robbed a bank with the help of a couple of toy mice, and while her cat can retire for the next nine lives, she doesn’t have Venmo and that’s made sharing the wealth difficult. Thankfully, that means we get to keep Ashley a little longer.
So her cat is… a cat burglar?
And top of the line too. You know what else is top of the line? Ashley’s passion for design. She brings to Woodblock over 5 years of experience, primarily working on residential homes, and is always eager to jump in and learn the in’s and out’s of new typologies.
What if I need a Designer who is passionate about those seasonal bird figurines from Target?
Oh buddy, we thought you’d never ask. That’s Ashley! And to be honest, probably the main reason we brought her onboard. They are integral to her design process, when she begins a project she first must decide which seasonal bird best embodies the client and then can begin mapping out her game plan. Ashley’s approach to projects caters to the client, whether she dives in head first, or works through a longer flight path (you see that bird pun?) before starting a project.
Cats. Birds. What about bears?
Funny you should mention that, sometimes we often confuse Ashley with the Sleepy Time Tea Bear. You know, the one on the tea boxes? They have the exact same nightcap they wear daily… so when Sleepy Time Bear is in the office, it’s quite difficult to tell them apart. Ashley had the same problem prior to joining Woodblock, when she was working as a Designer in Boston taking clients through all phases of the project lifecycle, start to finish. We might get her a new nightcap on her next anniversary so we can finally tell the difference.
