Candlewood Suites Vancouver - Camas

The candlewood hotel in Vancouver, WA is an 83 room four story wood construction ground up building with ground floor amenities such as a fitness center, guest laundry and breakfast nook. The exterior design was adapted from the Candlewood Brand standard to match a pacific northwest aesthetic with cultured stone base, fiber cement panel accent and cedar clad top floor. We incorporated a rainscreen exterior skin design to perform in our local environment. As architect we coordinated a team of Civil, Structural and landscape engineers and worked closely with the builder to execute a bidder designed Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems integration. We navigated the project through concept design, land use entitlements and developer agreement with the City of Vancouver prior to construction document production and construction administration
